Three amazing and kind friends walked together to the shops on a sunny Tuesday afternoon, chatting about the annoyance of college work and life in general. The friends were Matthew, Leon and Jay, three friends who spent quite a lot of time together. They were always there for one another, helping and understanding one another whenever one of the three was having a dilemma they needed help with.

On this particular day, Matthew; otherwise known as Matty; was informing Leon and Jay about how he was concerned for his upcoming exams and how he was hoping, after all the study he had, that he would get at least a relatively good response. Leon and Jay assured Matty that they knew he had done a good lot of study for the exam and that they believed strongly in their great friend. “Don’t worry about it, Matty. Stress is the last thing you want to have for an exam. I’ve seen you studying hard for it. I believe in you.” Jay told Matty as they walked into Leon’s home. Leon opened the door into the lounge-room. “Besides, I think times like this are the best times to relax and remember the most important aspects that you’ve lear… hey, where did those come from?” The boys stopped as Leon pointed to three plushies that he had never seen before. They were very big, and each one was different. There was a letter that lay next to the otter plushie, which seemed to remind Matty of something he’d seen before. “They look absolutely adorable,” Jay smiled. “Maybe some-one sent them to us?”

Leon walked over and picked up the note, unfolding it and reading it out loud for his friends. “‘Dear friends, I have sent you these plushies as representations of what I believe you three are like and how wonderful you have been to me. The otter belongs to Matty, representing his playfulness and eagerness to get things done and right for his friends. The white wolf belongs to Jay, representing his kindness and how happy and amazing he is. And the wolf with the crown is for Leon, representing how brave and leadership like he is, becoming the wolf prince I see him as. Please enjoy them and their special gifts to each of you, as you deserve them all. Your friend, Justin Hunt.’” Leon looked at Matty and Jay. “Justin? Isn’t that the Australian boy that does those transformation comics and interesting stories?” He asked them. “Yeah! Justy sent us those plushies. Aw that’s so amazing. And they’re so cute too.” Jay smiled, heading over to the White wolf plushie and giving it a big cuddle. “I do have to admit, the otter plushie does look adorable.” Matty giggled and was less stressed when he saw that no surprise transformation happened to Jay when Jay snuggled his wolf plushie. Matty approached his otter plushie and stroked its’ tail gently.

The otter meeped happily in response. “Oh that felt nice, mister ^^!” It said. All the boys looked at the otter in surprise. “Y-y-y-you c-can talk?” Leon murmured. The otter nodded and came to life, giving Matty a huge hug in excitement. “We all can! And we love you, friends!” All three of the plushies came to life and snuggled the boys much to the boys’ surprise. Jay was pushed softly onto the chair by his wolf plushie and they began to hug and play and smile. Matty’s otter plushie wiggled his rudder and nuzzled Matty’s shoulder affectionately. And Leon’s wolf prince plushie managed to pull off the crown on its’ head and place it on top of Leon proudly. “I… I don’t understand. How can this be?” Leon asked, happy but still confused.
The plushies wiggled their tails in unison as Jays’ Wolf plushie; Blitz; explained. “A boy named Justin put some magic on us to be able to come to life and actually spend time with you three happily and playfully. No transformations, no age regressions or anything like that, just simple ability to walk and talk and interact with you three. Isn’t that great?” Blitz tickled Jays’ toes cheekily and Leon smiled at that. “Well ok I admit that is very nice. We should give Justin something back for this one day.” Matty nodded as he tickled his otters’ tummy, feeling like a kid again. “We should indeed, but right now we should have a relaxing fun time with our new plushies!”

Leon nodded and joined his friends in giving the plushies a good play with, which in the end was what they really wanted. The three boys needed a chance to ‘be’ young again, and thanks to the three plushies, for the rest of the year the boys got that chance. And when the time came for Matty to take part in his exam, he wasn’t too scared because of how happy he had been, and he managed to pass it with a fantastic score.
All because of the three plushies they now owned and happily played with almost every day.         THE END.
